We work closely with partners and clients to make the message of the property clear, consistent and distinctive. This results in the establishment of a powerful connection with the target audience.
Starlight Runner becomes expert in all creative aspects of the property by absorbing everything established for the property thus far.
If the property is brand new, we establish a foundation for it that incorporates a set of visions and goals created by our partners and ourselves.
We assess the core themes of the property and will infuse them into every aspect of franchise development.
We consult with our partners and fellow creators to develop a plan for extending the boundaries of this fictional universe in terms of space, time and detail.
Starlight Runner assembles a complete mythology for the universe of the property, creating a canon that will include character profiles, maps, locales, vehicles, artifacts, a bestiary, unique physics, thematic breakdown and full chronology.
We then organically expand the mythology as necessary to include vast amounts of new content. This is formalized as a living document, to be updated throughout the life of the property.
Starlight Runner develops a series of briefs outlining how to best implement the property in various media and ancillaries such as video games, online worlds, novels, comics and toys. Controlling implementation at this level maintains quality and prevents continuity breaches that can splinter the fan base.
We then form a plan of action to cultivate, validate and celebrate the fan base for the property, encouraging them to build a rich-content user-generated community around it on the Internet, and inviting them to experience the universe as a lifestyle.
We also work with creators to develop an advanced media implementation plan, so that mass audiences will have access to the world through mobile phones, handheld games, and downloadable content.
Starlight Runner coordinates and reviews all story and visual continuity across all incarnations of the property, insuring quality and consistency.
We can retain an international clearinghouse for the universe of the property, guiding licensees, publishers, printers, public relations firms and spokespersons on it.
We participate as producers and/or creative consultants on various extensions of the property, making long-term commitments to their success.
