How To Create Lucrative Blockbuster Worlds
Tuesday May 12 at 7:00pm
Learn how the savviest producers and companies are building concepts that attract huge-and loyal-audiences. Transmedia is the key. It captivates viewers by providing intriguing new details and introducing new characters in each medium, so that by following a single narrative from TV to web to game consoles to theatrical films, viewers enjoy a much richer experience than following the story in just one medium. Sponsors, of course, benefit from access to these viewers across all media. Producers who attend this seminar will learn the conceptual and technical building blocks for successful transmedia implementation, production, and deal making.
How to Create Lucrative Blockbuster Worlds is led by Jeff Gomez, PGA East Member At Large and CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment. Gomez is one of only a handful of producers with extensive experience in the burgeoning transmedia field. His most recent projects include Hasbro’s TRANSFORMERS, James Cameron’s AVATAR, the Disney/Bruckheimer PRINCE OF PERSIA, and Disney’s upcoming cross-platform re-launch of the TRON franchise.
Subsequent events in series include: Transmedia Incubation & Production: New Models & New Possibilities (June 24) and Deep Media: Producers Speak on Cross-Platform Storytelling Panel Discussion (July 16).
