Results: The Turok series plus ancillaries grossed over $420 million for Acclaim Entertainment, making it the most successful non-sports franchise in the company's history.
"Jeff Gomez took a second-tier character in Turok and helped to create a video game universe so successful that it paid for Acclaim Entertainment's $65 million acquisition of Valiant Comics twice over within weeks of the release of the first game in the series."
— Fabian Nicieza, President & Publisher (1994–1997), Acclaim Comics
