Executive Biographies

Jeff Gomez

Jeff Gomez is President and CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment, a leading producer of highly successful fictional worlds. Jeff currently creates greatly expanded back-stories for some of the Hollywood's biggest franchises. These mythologies are now being used to maximize potential revenues by allowing franchises to be extended into feature film sequels, video games, comic books, novels and animation, as well as an array of consumer products.

Jeff is also a producer of advanced media content, and is currently helping to launch new and established intellectual properties through sponsor-driven mobile and downloadable entertainment, as well as video-on-demand.

Jeff is known for contributing to the development of rich interactive worlds for Magic: The Gathering for Wizards of the Coast, a division of Hasbro, The Black Belt Club based on the Scholastic book series, and the Turok Dinosaur Hunter video game series for Acclaim Entertainment. Jeff co-wrote and produced Mattel's Hot Wheels World Race, a computer-animated series for Cartoon Network, which has more recently spawned a quartet of feature-length sequels called Hot Wheels Acceleracers.

More recently, The Walt Disney Company optioned one of Jeff's own properties, the super hero action-adventure Team GoRizer, which will be unveiled in fall 2006 with a comic series in Disney Adventures magazine.

A native New Yorker of Puerto Rican heritage, Jeff is also determined to provide inspiration to young people worldwide with his Never Surrender seminars and curriculum. Teaming with international education and advocacy foundation Operation Respect, he conceived and produced the anti-bullying video "Don't Laugh at Me," featuring teen hip-hop star Baby Jay.

Mark S. Pensavalle

Mark S. Pensavalle brings fifteen years of experience to his position as Vice President of Production & Operations of Starlight Runner Entertainment. Starlight Runner maximizes the potential revenues of entertainment franchises by allowing them to be extended into feature film sequels, video games, comic books, novels and animation, as well as an array of consumer products.

Most recently, Mark has teamed with business partner Jeff Gomez to furnish creative services and production on some of the largest and most lucrative franchises in American popular culture.

Mark is also a founding partner of Kissena Park Press, a trade book imprint of Starlight Runner. The imprint's second hardcover release, The Third Miracle, has been optioned as a feature film to be directed by William Dear (Angels in the Outfield, Harry and the Hendersons).

Mark is also serving as co-producer on Starlight Runner's slate of feature film, animation and advanced media projects, including Grand Slammed with American Movie Machine Independent, The Black Belt Club with Gravity Entertainment and Hand Picked Films, and IM from Paris with Warren Weideman.
